Dubai Office Building
As global resources become increasingly scarce, energy prices gradually rise, and corporate operating costs become increasingly high, companies are integrating energy conservation and emission reduction into corporate strategic management and daily operations for sustainable development under the global trend of energy conservation and emission reduction. Among the energy-saving transformation measures, intelligent transformation of building lighting systems is one of the most convenient and effective ways.
An office building of a company in Dubai has upgraded its traditional lighting system by introducing showjeen's IoT devices, thereby improving management efficiency and reducing electricity costs.
1. Analysis of key points and difficulties
1.1 Improve management efficiency
Office buildings rely on security personnel to patrol and manually turn off lights, which is time-consuming, inefficient, and often misses lights. We hope to upgrade the traditional lighting management method to improve management efficiency.
1.2 Reduce electricity consumption
Due to the lack of automated control, electricity waste often occurs, and electricity expenditure remains high. We hope to reduce electricity consumption through automated control.
1.3 Reduce building carbon emissions
The outdated lighting system does not meet the company's sustainable development goals. We hope to reduce building carbon emissions through automated control and intelligent management.
2.Solution:
2.1WS558 intelligent lighting controller is deployed in the office building to realize timed switching, remote switching and batch switching of lights. A single WS558 device can remotely control 8 lights, which can reduce the number of local switch panels deployed and reduce the cost of energy-saving transformation.
2.2WS202 PIR & light sensors are installed near the windows to monitor the brightness of natural light. When the natural light is detected to be lower than the threshold, the data is reported to the system platform, and the platform issues instructions to remotely turn on the lights to avoid insufficient light indoors. On the contrary, when the natural light is sufficient, the lights are turned off remotely to avoid wasting electricity.
